nestorrig.com is my personal portfolio. It has no user accounts, no forms, no ads and no cookies. This notice explains the little data that is processed when you visit it.

Who is responsible

What data is processed

The site is hosted on Netlify. To deliver the pages and keep them secure, Netlify processes technical data from each request, like any web server does:

• IP address and approximate location derived from it.
• Requested page, date and time.
• Referring website, if any.
• Browser and device information (user agent).

I use Netlify Analytics to see aggregated statistics from that data: page views, unique visitors, top pages, traffic sources and countries. It works on the server side, so no cookies, tracking scripts or fingerprinting are used in your browser. I don't use this data to identify you, build profiles or show ads.

Fonts, images and video are served from this same domain. The cursor effect runs entirely in your browser and doesn't send any data.

Why

To operate the site, keep it secure and understand how it's used. Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the legal basis is my legitimate interest in running a personal website. The data is not used for any other purpose.

Who processes it

Netlify, Inc. (United States) acts as hosting provider and data processor under its Data Processing Addendum, which means your data is transferred outside Mexico and the EU. You can read how Netlify handles it in its privacy policy.

How long it's kept

Analytics show up to 30 days of data. Server logs are kept by Netlify according to its own retention policy.

If you email me

If you contact me by email, I use your address and message only to reply, and they stay in my inbox for as long as the conversation is relevant.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to its use (ARCO rights under Mexican law, and the equivalent rights under the GDPR), by writing to nestorrigs@gmail.com. Analytics data is aggregated and not linked to your name, so I may not be able to find individual records. You can also file a complaint with your local data protection authority.
